Homeward bound! Well one more city! Bruges! 

So my trip for historical art work has turned in to my own version of Monuments Men hunting out artworks and sculptures mourned Europe! in Ghent we saw the Ghent Alter piece by Lamb of God; by the Van Eyck Brothers, and now in Bruges; Madonna and Child by Michelangelo.

 

Both pieces were epic in their locations and in their presence in those spaces. I spent time walking around the churches and observing the light and how it reflects around the building. Both historic art works were very popular with streams of people viewing and where possible photographing the pieces. 

    

But the end is neigh! We have to go home eventually, so our journey begins back to the Uk reminiscing of our lovely time in the amazing cities we visited!
